Sales Badges

Updated Sep 18, 2026

Sales Badges add eye-catching labels to your product images, such as "SALE", "NEW", or "30% OFF". They help promotions stand out as shoppers browse your store. You choose the design, where the badge sits on the image, which products show it, and when.

How it works

  1. Design your badge — Upload your own image or choose from a set of presets, then set its position and styling.
  2. Choose your products — Target products by filter, by collection, or by selecting them manually.
  3. Set a schedule (optional) — Show the badge during a specific period, on a repeating pattern, or leave it on permanently.
  4. Activate — The badge appears on your product images on the storefront.
  5. Deactivate — When you switch it off, the badge stops showing.

What you can customise

  • Badge image — upload your own or pick a preset.
  • Position — place the badge in a corner or the centre of the product image.
  • Size — choose small, medium, large, or a custom size.
  • Opacity — adjust how solid or see-through the badge appears.
  • Colours — for text-based badges, set the background and text colours.

How to set it up

  1. Open the Sales Badges page and create a new badge.
  2. Upload an image or choose a preset, then position it on the product image and adjust size and opacity.
  3. Choose which products should show the badge.
  4. Decide whether it should always be on or run during a set schedule.
  5. Save.

FAQ

Can I use my own badge image? Yes. You can upload a custom image, or choose from the built-in preset badges.

Where will the badge appear on my product images? Wherever you choose: a corner of the image or the centre. The setup screen lets you position it visually.

Do badges have to be scheduled? No. Badges can be left on permanently, or you can set a start and end time, or a repeating schedule.

Can I preview the badge before it goes live? Yes. You can see how the badge will look on your matched products before activating it.

How are badges different from countdown timers? Both highlight promotions on your storefront, but a badge is a label on the product image, while a countdown timer shows a ticking "sale ends in" message.
