Sales Discount Manager

Price Editor overview

Updated Sep 18, 2026

The Price Editor lets you change the prices of many products at once, schedule those changes to happen automatically, and restore your original prices later. It's perfect for running a sale: discount a group of products on Friday and have their normal prices come back on Monday, all without touching products one by one.

How it works

  1. Choose your products — Pick the products you want to update, either by using a saved filter or by selecting them manually.
  2. Set up the price change — Choose what kind of change to make and the value.
  3. Preview — Review a before-and-after list so you can confirm the new prices look right.
  4. Schedule — Apply the change now, or set a date and time for it to start. You can also set a time for prices to be restored.
  5. Restore — When the sale ends, original prices come back automatically at the time you chose, or you can restore them manually whenever you like.

Types of price changes

  • Increase or decrease prices by a fixed amount.
  • Increase or decrease prices by a percentage.
  • Set a fixed price for all selected products.
  • Set, clear, or copy the "compare at" price, which shows shoppers the original "was" price next to the sale price.
  • Round prices to a tidy ending such as .99 or .95, or to a whole number.

Helpful options

  • Skip products already on sale so you don't discount items twice.
  • Skip sold-out items so you only change prices on products that are available.

FAQ

Will my original prices be saved? Yes. When a scheduled price change runs, Ouiteo saves your original prices first, so they can be restored exactly when the sale ends.

Can I restore prices early? Yes. You can trigger a manual restore at any time, even before the scheduled restore time.

Can I preview the new prices before they go live? Yes. The preview step shows each product's current price, new price, and the difference, so there are no surprises.

What happens to products that are already discounted? If you turn on the option to skip products already on sale, items that already have a "compare at" price set will be left untouched.

Do I have to schedule changes, or can I apply them right away? Both. You can apply changes immediately or pick a future start time, with an optional automatic restore.
